This year SonarKids takes over the Christmas programme of CosmoCaixa. This new edition for children and parents of Sonar Festival will be held on December 27th and 28th of 2014 and January 2, 3 and 4 of 2015. There will be 5 days of music and creative experimentation for family entertainment.
The programme will be starred with the show of Kumisho, a french-japanese electro-pop trio and the japanese mask design workshop led by Shoboshobo, where attendees will enter to the world of illustration, create their own masks and use them during Kumisho show.

Kumisho show is the perfect combination of the voice and the sweet keyboard sounds of Kumisolo, the band’s videoclips based on the colourful illustrations of Shoboshobo (shown at screens and over Kumisolo’s dress) and the melodic touch of Romanovski, the Robotic Guitarist.
Kumisho’s performance will combine music and live projections. It has been created and performed by the japanese singer and keyboard player Kumisolo and the french visual artist Shoboshobo; they will be on stage with the guitar player Romain Romanovski. The show will be performed twice a day: at 1pm and 5pm.
Kumisho is a tech show which combines music, illustration and animation. Along 40 minutes, slow and tender moments are intercalated with dynamic and energetic paths.
During the first part of the show, the projections not only take place at the main screen but also on Kumisolo’s dress. The show is aimed at children of different ages, from 4 years old on, and at various moments they are invited to participate.
Shoboshobo, the artist behind the colourful visuals of Kumisho, will present at SonarKids Cosmocaixa a workshop for designing masks that involves parents and children for playing in a creative way. It will take place every day at 11am, 12pm, 3pm and 4pm.
Shoboshobo is Mehdi Hercberg, a Parisian artist whose work consist on a wide range of projects, including illustration, clothing design, music and print editions. His graphic work is mainly focused on monsters and strange pop scary creatures, and sometimes, tender. He has performed and exhibited in several countries (Japan, USA, UK, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden, Argentina ...).
